4.5 Top PickSlow Cooking, or Crock Pot cooking, is something I grew up with. Who doesn’t love to come home to the smell of food cooking in the kitchen? Knowing you don’t have to cook dinner, because it is ready from your morning preparations, is one of the many perks of slow cooking. Anything can be cooked in the crockpot, well almost, and this recipe book proves it. From chicken, to beef and back to pork- they have included them all.I enjoy seeing the actual food pictures and this book has them, big plus in my opinion. The ingredients are listed and the recipes are easy to follow. It seems that we (cooks) use slow cooking more in the winter months. There are so many stews, roasts and casseroles to make using this cooking method. This book provides additional recipes that don’t always use traditional ingredients. I urge you to read through and pick a few new recipes of your own to try this winter. Happy slow cooking!Review by: Pamela RobinsonDisclosure: Review copy from the publisher for an honest review.
