I love this series but hate how short each book is and how clever Bobby Adair is as an author by ending each book at a critical point leaving the reader hanging. But.. the reason I gave this book five stars is because it rates that high n even higher. I do not know if Adair has written other books but it would seem that with his talent for the craft, he has because his style is well developed as though he was a pro with vast experience. His characters are rich, his scenes are so vivid I felt as though I was watching a movie and could describe in detail the town, the building each person, etc. I have only read a small amount of books of which I could say the same about and trust me, I've read thousands if I've read one. I inhale them and I love it, always have since I taught myself to read at the age of four. Solo, what are you waiting for? Grab these three and....inhale. you will not regret it, I promise. Oh and by the way, his zombie story is unique in ways I have never thought of and I own and have read 60+ zombie books. So many of this genre are predictable since they all have traditional zombies and maybe you find a bit of originality within, coming from the authors imagination, every once in awhile... but this story is unique and I am not going to spoil the genius of this author so you will have to read it to find out what I'm talking about....
