I love my slow cookers (aka crock pots)! I hate clean up of any sort, especially the sort where foods have cooked for hours. I cover the bottom of the ceramic pot with water and then fit it with the liner. I advise putting a kitchen towel under the slow cooker to catch the escaped steam = water from dancing all over the countertop. The bags have not let me down; they withstand the heat, do not rip or tear, they bear the weight of what I am cooking, and I get out of the kitchen quicker.
