I was recently diagnosed with anemia and my doctor prescribed 2-3 iron supplements daily to bring up my extremely low ferritin levels. I was told to use a popular slow release iron supplement, only to find out that it's not on the market presently. I found Mason Slow Release Iron and decided to try it. I was impressed with the lack of artificial coloring and the price was reasonable. I've taken this supplement for about a month and I have noticed very little to no gastric issues. Of course, I wouldn't recommend taking this supplement without a doctor's supervision as too much iron can adversely affect your health.
