When I first learned about the concept of this book (three different ways to make the same recipe) I instantly went "ok that's super cool". In practice, it's really helpful because I can buy ingredients for a meal on the weekend, and as the week progresses I can say "yeah I have time and energy, let's do it the oven way" or "I can't put energy into this, let's use the slow cooker this morning so it'll be ready when I get home". Same end result. Well, similar enough end result. The best part is that when I'm considering a recipe, there are helpful hints about "if you do the slow cooker, the chicken turns out tender and moist" or "the instant pot is actually my favorite way to make this". Love this.As to the food itself? Thumbs up. My wife and I are very particular about recipes, especially ones that require a lot of time in the kitchen (if I'm spending a half hour in the kitchen, it better be healthier and/or better tasting than pizza or take out!). The very first day with this book we tried the cashew chicken, and WOW is it good. From bite 1 I knew it'd be a hit.All in all, I can heartily recommend this book. Great food, and great to have options!
