I like that it provides gain over the stock duck antenna, but isn't as fragile as a high gain metal telescoping antenna. It can be knocked around, bent, etc. and bounce back. Bend a telescoping antenna and it's never the same. It's very compact when deflated.My other high gain telescoping antennas are also single band. It's nice that this is dual band.The build quality is so so - not sure how long the antenna and/or pump will last.It doesn't do very well outside when it's breezy. A telescoping antenna has the advantage in this case.
