My Corgi got the hang of this pretty quickly but it shouldn’t be so difficult to press down for the food. It is finicky sometimes it comes and sometimes the button doesn’t come back up. She hits the button and expects food but nothing. It also easily gets jammed when putting her food in it. Adult pro plan food has larger chunks in it and they get wedged and are difficult to get out. I love the concept but wouldn’t buy it again it needs improvements.Product works for smaller dogs. I got a monster wolf. My food bits are a tad too big that they get stuck occasionally and only 1/2 of his food fits. If there is a double size one it would be awesome.Suction cups don't hold against him, and the sticky bottom didn't work. He learned to use the button quickly, but it only took him watching me fill it one time to learn how to remove the top cover. After 1st filling it, the cover comes off pretty easy. Sturdy enough He flings it around to get the food to pour out the top after removing it. Will see on how long it goes before it breaks, but it's no longer a button press its a kick toy to disperse food. This slow feeder has a potentially great design with one major flaw. Food/treats come out perfectly for the first 3-5 pushes, then it gets clogged up and the pieces had to manually be loosened. We either shook the whole box or pressed the button and turned it upside down to make sure all the pieces were out of the spring loaded area. The button could easily be pushed by our cats. i really like how big the push button is and how easily it pushed down. The whole feeder unit is sturdy and it holds about 1.5 ish cups of foodNot sure if my dogs would have ever gotten to the point that they found this fun because the first time I used it there were so many crumbs stuck in between the bottom and top pieces with no way to get them out I find it unsanitary. I have tried everything I can to try to get the crumbs cleaned out, soaking shaking, even trying to pry the two pieces apart all to no avail. At this point this is a $27 piece of trash, not money well spent. I will be returning the product. We were so excited to use this puzzle feeder for our pup and give it to him for his birthday. He enjoys food, naturally, he's a good boy, and he has a lot of energy and benefits from puzzle feeders. We were extremely disappointed that the puzzle theater would not stay put on our hardwood floors, which made teaching our dear pup very difficult. He's high energy and was pushing the toy around the room which made it very hard for him to learn how it works. In the end we decided to return the product because our dog was unable to use it for its intended purpose. Through limited usage the button at the top would also jam quite often. I've seen this product recommend a lot so we're very disappointed that it didn't work out.Suction doesn't work on wood floors. Too many kibble come out if they hold the paw on top button. Fun to watch them tho. Would probably not buy again but it is fun watching them learn .I wanted to like this, I ended up returning it because you can’t control the amount of treats that come out of it. It releases a LOT of food, and in all four directions. I wanted to use this for my cat, but he very quickly figured out how to lift the pressure plate/button off the top and stick his paws inside instead of using the button itself
