Great fit for our 10 pound Maltese, the height is not too low or too high. The size and spacing of the walls inside the bowl definitely slow him down while eating!The bowl tends to spin around freely on its stand unless you use the included sticky-dots, which are easy to miss. The bottom of the bowl is smooth and so is the wooden stand. Adhering the sticky-dots to the bottom of the bowl makes it stop spinning around too much, but I'm not sure how long the sticky-dots will last on the bottom of the bowl. I would have preferred built-in anti-slip pads as seen in some other products.
