This was really helpful in getting our pitbull/boxer mix dog slow down while he is eating. He was eating too fast and throwing up his food almost immediately after eating and this bowl stopped that. He hasn't had any issues now that he's using this bowl. Pretty easy to clean up, used soap and water and the gunk cleaned pretty quickly.It’s a little smaller than I thought. Only fits around 1 cup of food. If you have a bigger dog I would not recommend, but other than that works pretty well.Only gave it 5 stars because it is a slow feed however it is NOT for large dogs. I’m glad I have a cat who also needs a slow feed so lucked in and got a new bowl, however disappointed that I have still have to spend money and get another slow feed bowl. It is nice and sturdy however.My dogs absolutely love these!!This bowl did the trick. My 1 year old Ace was eating so fast, he’d make himself sick. This really slows him down. Also, his poo had been soft for a month. Nothing I tried helped that problem. The first day of him eating slower, his poo returned to normal. This was an unexpected added benefit. To clean I dunk it in soapy waster with a bit of bleach. My pup eats just over a cup of food at a time. I think you could put up to a cup and a half in this easily.Great bowl for my dog. would buy again. Only this I wish it was skid prood.Before this bowl my chihuahuas would Hoover down their food. Now they spend about 10 minutes eating their dinner.Description says it’s for large dogs, only fits 1cup of food. It’s not a bad product but it’s just too small.
