Update: I have received an Amazon Gel Infused Memory Foam mattress topper to replace the Dreamfoam mattress topper that started splitting in multiple areas. I just want to say that the Amazon mattress topper is a much better choice and better quality. And now back to my review of Dreamfoam. I'll start out by saying I originally wrote a glowing 5 star review for this mattress topper because it was very comfortable. After 8 months however the foam started splitting in various spots. The splits were minor at first but quickly became deeper and more were showing up. At 9 months in, I sent an e-mail to Dreamfoam Bedding explaining what was happening. They advertise a 3 year warranty so I said I had been very happy with the mattress topper and would be willing to accept a replacement. I was hoping, even though I saw a picture in the reviews showing someone else with a mattress topper that had split, that this was just a fluke. I said I would send the original one back if they would send me a box big enough to return it along with a pre-paid return shipping label. I also said that if the replacement started splitting, at that time I would request a refund. After several back and forth e-mail exchanges here's what Dreamfoam said to me.1. No replacement without me sending them pictures of the defect. Now I can actually understand that request because I'm sure there might be people out there who would try to pull one over on them. I am a 74 year old disabled woman in a wheelchair. I only have an old desk top computer and a land line phone. The few close neighbors I have are all in the their 80s and 90s and they also don't have iphones or whatever you call the phones that can send pictures on the internet. Most of them don't even have computers. To top it off everyone in my area is staying home and not getting close to anyone because of the number of COVID-19 cases in our area. I live in WA. Bottom line, I was not able to send them pictures. Dreamfoam said there were no NO EXCEPTIONS. They made it clear they didn't give a hoot about my limitations. No pictures...no replacement..end of story.2. Dreamfoam also told me there would be NO refund if the replacement mattress topper started splitting. They only give refunds during the first 30 days. That 3 year warranty they advertise is for replacements only and YOU have to find a box big enough to send the old one back to them because they WILL NOT provide a return box. The mattress topper is BIG and it's HEAVY. Not a good situation for someone like me to be in. I should note that they did offer to send a return shipping label. Mighty big of them...lol.3. Now I was disgusted and frustrated because this had been a big expense for me and I had only had the topper for 9 months. I might add that my husband and I had been turning my topper each month which was not easy for us to do. He is also disabled but I wanted to take really good care of it so it would last a long time. I contacted Amazon and spoke to a supervisor. They completely understood my situation and sent Dreamfoam an e-mail. They explained why I couldn't send pictures. They asked Dreamfoam to send me a replacement mattress topper in a box big enough to put the original one in and I would send the defective one back to them. Dreamfoam replied quickly saying NO!!! No pictures no replacement!!!At this point Amazon stepped in and took very good care of me. I would NEVER trust buying anything from Dreamfoam again. They have no compassion or understanding for anyone who is unable to meet their strict rules regardless of the reasons.
