We have a puppy that doesnt have any control and wolfs down his food. This helps him slow down and work for it. Our other dog is a chunk so this also helps him not over eat. They get all of the food out and any vitamins or oils we add. Cleans pretty decent but hard to get in those tight spots.Puppy who eat to fast , are bloated and have more accidents and hungry more often. This doubles the amount of time to eat on s norm. Puppy is fuller quicker able to move with ease less accidents due to bloatedness . Please be advise if they can get their mouth in between the pieces of bowl then the bowl is too big . Needs to be work when eating with these bowls or they are pointless. It is just like the toys that insert treats make it their reward .This is a great little dog bowl. It does exactly what it says it will do. I no longer have to clean up messes my little dog makes after gobbling down her food! It is easy to clean and durable. It was a little bigger than I thought it would be. I thought it might not slow my dogs gobbling his dinner but it has. A bit smaller size would probably be better for him. Its very sturdy and well made.My dog likes to inhale her food. This bowl definitely slowed down the time it takes her finish eating which is much more healthy for her. Reduces the risk of bloat and digestive issues. Glad I bought it.It is great but the feet on the bottom fall off so the bowl slides all over the place, we are disappointed in how the feet are not durable.I recently adopted a puppy and she eats her food way too fast. I tried this bowl to see if it would help and it made her eat 3 times longer than normal. Highly recommend for helping your dog eat more slowly. My pup always inhaled his food, causing him to throw it up. I bought this to slow down his eating, and it works as expected for a good peiceWe've got 2 dogs, a Westie and a Westie/Yorkie mix. The latter is a rescue dog and has always been a total gannet when it comes to food. She always ate in 2 seconds flat and was long gone before our Westie barely touched her dinner. It took a while for her to realise the bones weren't edible, but once she'd sussed it, they now finish their food at about the same time, so it's definitely slowing her down and that can only be a good thing for her digestion.Only downside is you have to put it in the corner of the room (if your dogs as greedy as ours) because it'll just fly around the floor as it doesn't have anything keeping it in place on the bottom. We have to pick her up and position her diagonally to the corner too or she just goes up and down the wall. It's a whole thing. Also, we feed them biscuit/wet meat mix - which means, to mix it, we have to put it in another bowl first then transfer it over to this bowl and push it down between the bones. It was just something I hadn't thought of before we got it, and it's abit of a pain washing 3 bowls instead of 2 but that's probably a unique complaint and just a side effect more than anything that can be fixed. So pleased though, couldn't do without it now. But if your dog eats normally, and not like they're trying to win an eating competition at an all you can eat buffet, this isn't the bowl for you.Love this bowl! It has slowed our dinner demon down a treat. The only downside is, because he was so forceful at the beginning, the rubbers have come out and disappeared from the base so the bowl now slides about a bit. He is calmer when he’s eating now though, so not too much of an issue. It’s a very robust design and does not tip.Looking after our daughters French Bulldog puppy. It wolfs its food down and throws up during every meal. His bowl was emptied in seconds.I searched on Amazon and saw the good feedback for these type of bowls.Since having his meal in the bowl, he's not thrown up and it takes him twelve minutes to eat his food.Glad I bought one.Great idea.
