I have read the Slow Burn series 1-9 and I must say if there were 30 books in the series i would read them all. Zed and Murphy are well developed characters that I formed a connection with throughout the series. I did not want to put these books down and I hope we will see more from this series in the future.(hint, hint Bobby) I have read most if not all of Bobby Adair's work and I love his style. To me all of his writings have a great flow and roughness that makes it seem as if you are really there. I also love the fact that the Slow Burn series in set in Austin, Texas and the surrounding areas. His accurate geographical descriptions make these even better reads for a fellow Texan. I highly, highly recommend this series to anyone I meet that is interested in AP Fiction or a great read in general.
