The worst crockpot ever. The high setting would only warm at best. Just threw it away.Function and value wise this is good. The pot and lid are dishwasher safe too.It heats up quick and heats evenly.I took 1 star off for no on light indicator. I like to look and see from a distance if I unplugged it.Trust you found this review honest and helpful:-)My digital slow cooker just pooped out on me so the chance to review the Ateken 7 quart slow cooker came at the perfect time for me. Usage doesn't get any easier than this - just turn the know to either of the three settings from the off position - high, low, or warm.Glass lid sits on top of a substantial 7 quart ceramic pot. The base features a pebbled aluminum exterior, with the selector knob placed front and center. The handles are easy to grab and move. Weight is on par with all slow coookers I've ever used - heavy, but not prohibitively slow. The reason for taking off a star is that my slow cooker arrived a little wobbly, with the rubber feet being misaligned and required me to jury-rig a solution to keep it from wobbling. Better quality control on the seller's part would easily prevent other's from receiving a wobbly unit.Otherwise the slow cooker performs as expected and does its job well.Just what I have been looking for ,A Big easy to use crock Pot.I have 2 big fancy digital crock pots and there a pain in the neck to deal with, andYou really do not need timers, and probs to turn off and on your crock pot.Today I made a awesome stew in this Ateken slow cooker, and it didn’t heat up my house. Great for summer, and I can still leave my home and go shoppingAnd come home to a nice family dinner. This slow cooker is easy to use, turn the knob, Off, low , high, Warm, Off. It’s a no brainer, and you don’tHave to study the little booklet that comes with it everytime you want to use it,And if you make a mistake with the buttons you don’t have to start all over again, just turn the sturdy knob. The lid is tempered glass. The outside is textured medal. The crock inside is heavy. The only thing I miss on this crock pot is there is no place to hang the lid on the side. Not really a big deal.I recommend this slow cooker.5 starsLiterally use this thing every day, for breakfast literally overnight or dinners the next day. I use crock pot liners to keep clean up simple (literally a breeze) and cooking has suddenly become so much easier. Beef enchiladas come out heavenly when made in the slow cooker. It's huge (a beast, really) but it's perfect for a large roast for a family. It heats up well, evenly and cooks perfectly. The keep warm function leaves a lot to be desired because it doesn't keep the food warm, but it does tend to dry whatever it is out pretty quickly. I just ignore that feature and do not use it any longer after ruining a couple dishes. I learned my lesson! No keep warm feature!Bought this the first of the year. Worked great easy to use and clean. Come September and noticed the bottom of the crock has surface cracks, , then a big cracks across the center.. also noticed that the inside is rusting.. DO NOT BUY or Buyer beware.
