The factory cable that came with my radio was giving me fits. It acted like it was connected but after 1-5% trying to read the radio it would give me an error. This cable looks to be the same, had same drivers, but it works how it's supposed to on TYT software and Chirp. Amazon actually gave me a partial refund from the price of the radio which covered this purchase because I was unable to reach the manufacturer (so I'm thinking it may be a very common reason for returns on TH09800's and they would rather help you out than get the radio back and have to issue a full refund). Very impressed by this response and the cable works great.
