Few words...what is not to love. Good " REAL SINGING ARTISTS" without all the flim flam machinery making beautiful beautiful beautiful soulful music. This is one of maaaaaaaaaaaaaaany CDs in this line & the like that I have. Meaningful love chill stuff. I just love love love this type of music. Aaaaaaand quite a bit of it is older than I. I can so appreciate phenomenally great music such as this. I grew up on it. My family elders listened to it & so did we. Unlike today's "kiddies", they tell the elders what to do. I grew up in times where chain of command was respect! There was no I don't wanna, I ain't gonna, get out my face, turn that off, put this Instagram star's music on, my autotune artist sounds better than that old head ness y'all listening to & all the other bogus crap these folk today say. Whether we liked it not ( mostly didn't NOT like it ) WE listened & learned to truly appreciate it. When the elders had their card parties & told the oldest child to take all the younger kids in the back or to the basement, or to feed the younger kids first & the older kids last, or the backyard cookouts, when we (the kids) play "Puttin' on The Hits", "Star Search" or even dance the "Soul Train" line, we did it cheerfully fun & glad we had we had the opportunity to do so. With that being sad, we listened to this music, learned the words & grew up in love with this music of eclectic abundance with contributions from various artists of various ethnicities & races with no divide. Beauty of rainbow in music. So there......
