I have been a CJ fan for 30+ years now. I pretty much have all their albums and even videos. So when I heard CJ was releasing a box set that included the albums "Open", "One Soul Now" and "At The End Of Paths Taken" I wasn't thinking of getting this set. I already had the three individual albums so what is the incentive to get "Notes Falling Slow".Then I see there is a fourth CD in the box set of previously unreleased music. That right there was intriguing to me to get to hear some some new tunes that hadn't been released before by the Junkies. So even though I had the three albums already individually that is on this set I bought it anyway just for the fourth CD of unreleased songs. And I'm glad I did.The fourth CD titled "Notes Falling Slow" is an excellent collection of music. All the songs on this disc were from the recording sessions during the productions of the other three albums that for one reason or another never made it on the original albums. Don't think however these songs didn't make it on the original albums because they were no good or only second rate. Far from it. There are some very good, first rate songs on this record. This would be a great album on its own. Trust me if you are a diehard CJ fan like me you will want to get this box set even if you do have the three albums mentioned already just for this fourth disc.But it is worth it to get the set for those other three CDs even if you have them. The re-master job they did to these albums is fantastic. It is easy to hear a lot of work went into re-issuing these album bringing them a fuller, rounder sound that is far superior to the original master tapes. The difference between how the original albums and these re-mastered sound is like night and day. Over the years I have listened to these three albums many time. But hearing the remastered recordings are bringing a whole new perspective for me to these songs. These are not new songs but they sound that way with the work that has been done in the recording studio. This is a true must to get if you are a die hard fan. Even if you have the original records this box set should be included in your music library.
