This reunion of Siegel and Hersch on CD is easily the equal of their first excellent meeting. Except for their outside opening of "Alone Together" and the mixed results of their "Slow Hot Wind" makeover, there's nothing for me not to like. Excellent performances and fine song choice including superior covers of Sting and Bob Dorough. Allmusic only gave it 3 stars: I feel Scott Yanow often nails instrumentals but misses the boat on vocals. If you like jazz ballads with a smear of pop, don't miss this one.
